I want to become a member of Kalmar Nation, what do I do?
Great to hear!
First off, you need a Studentlund account. Register for one here! If you are a having trouble registering for Studentlund, please send our Notary an e-mail at notarie@kalmarnation.nu and we’ll help you out! We can also help out in person at our office at Biskopsgatan 12.
Once you become a member of Studentlund, you will be able to join a nation, a union and the Academic Society (AF).
We’ll be happy to help you sign up for all three!
Once the enrollment period has started, your next step is to visit our office to sign up as a member of Kalmar Nation!
The enrollment period for the 2025 Fall semester starts on August 25 and ends on September 19. During this time, all nations have extended opening hours in order to admit new students. Kalmar Nation will be open from 10:00 to 19:00, Monday-Friday.
During the enrollment period, all sign-ups have to take place in person.
Please remember to bring 3 things:
1) a valid form of identification
2) proof of studies/employment at the university, such as a letter of acceptance or registration
3) your LU access card (or something else with your personal number on it)

You are now a green-and-white Kalmarite! Congratulations!
Your membership is valid until the next semester when you will get the option to renew it. Should you not wish to renew your Studentlund membership, you can simply stop paying the bill.
Make sure to download the STUK.CO mobile app which contains not only your digital membership card, but also a calendar in which you can keep track of all the nations’ events!
Besides being part of the hottest crowd in Lund, with your membership you get the benefit of entering all of our pubs for free. You also get to apply to our housing queues, and you can also become a Foreman, should you wish to contribute to the nation in a more active way!
